Site Ergonomics Survey Northern Ireland

A structured, facility-wide Ergonomics survey with a formal written report

Service Overview

A Site Ergonomics Survey is a structured site visit providing a formal, documented overview of Ergonomics risks across your facility. It sits between an introductory Workplace Ergonomics Walk-Through and a full, comprehensive Ergonomics Risk Assessment. It is suitable for organisations that need a clear, written picture of Ergonomics risks before deciding where to focus detailed assessment work.

During the survey, I tour your facility or dedicated areas, observe tasks being carried out, speak with employees and identify Ergonomics risk factors across key areas. Findings are documented in a written report with prioritised observations, photographs and areas for improvement.

What Happens During the Survey

During the visit, I will:

  • Tour your facility or dedicated areas

  • Observe employees performing tasks where possible

  • Conduct structured conversations with workers

  • Identify and record Ergonomics risk factors

  • Capture photographs to support findings (where permitted)

What You Receive

Following the survey, you will receive a written report including:

  • A structured overview of Ergonomics risks identified across your facility

  • Prioritised observations by area

  • Photographic evidence supporting key findings

  • Areas for improvement and recommendations

  • Recommended next steps where further detailed assessment may be beneficial

What's Not Included

A Site Ergonomics Survey does not include formal risk scoring, a full risk matrix or detailed implementation guidance. Where specific job roles or tasks require deeper analysis, the report will identify these and recommend the most appropriate next step, whether that is an Ergonomics Risk Assessment or MSD Risk Assessment.

Ideal For

  • Businesses seeking a documented overview of Ergonomics risks

  • Organisations preparing for an HSENI inspection or audit

  • Sites that have completed a walk-through and are ready for a more structured assessment

  • Safety and operations managers needing a formal report to present to leadership

  • Businesses planning a phased Ergonomics improvement programme
