Workplace Ergonomics Walk-Through Northern Ireland

A practical, introductory Ergonomics site visit that gives you a clear picture of risk across your facility.

Service Overview

A Workplace Ergonomics Walk-Through is a site visit designed to give you a clear, high-level picture of Ergonomics risks across your facility. It is an ideal starting point for organisations that want to understand their current position before committing to a more detailed assessment.

During the visit, I tour your facility, observe work being carried out, speak with employees and identify general Ergonomics risk factors that may be contributing to discomfort, injury or inefficiency. Findings are delivered as a verbal debrief following the visit, supported by a brief written summary of key observations and areas for improvement.

What Happens During the Visit

During the walk-through, I will:

  • Tour key areas of your facility

  • Observe employees performing tasks where possible

  • Conduct brief, informal conversations with workers

  • Identify general Ergonomics risk factors

  • Capture photographs to support observations (where permitted)

What You Receive

  • A verbal debrief covering key observations and areas for improvement

  • A brief written summary of findings

What's Not Included

A walk-through does not include formal Ergonomics screening or in-depth task analysis. Where job roles or tasks would benefit from deeper investigation, I will identify these during the visit and recommend the most appropriate next steps, whether that is an Ergonomics Risk Assessment, MSD Risk Assessment or Site Ergonomics Survey.

Ideal For

  • Organisations new to Ergonomics who want an accessible starting point

  • Sites preparing for an HSENI inspection or audit

  • Operations and safety managers seeking broad visibility of potential risks

  • Businesses considering an ongoing Ergonomics programme
