Ergonomics Cover in Northern Ireland for Occupational Health and Corporate Wellbeing Providers

If you are an Occupational Health or corporate health and wellbeing provider based in Great Britain with clients in Northern Ireland, I offer local Ergonomics cover on the ground in Northern Ireland.

I am a Chartered Ergonomist and Human Factors Specialist based near Belfast. I deliver workplace Ergonomics assessments, DSE assessments, driver assessments and manual handling training across Northern Ireland, working directly with your clients on site so that assessments happen in person, without the cost or delay of sending someone over from the mainland.

How the arrangement works

The arrangement can work as a straightforward referral or as an associate relationship, depending on how your organisation operates. You refer the client to me, I carry out the assessment or training and you remain the point of contact with your client throughout.

I already work with several GB-based Occupational Health Providers in exactly this way. The referral model is well established and the paperwork is straightforward to set up. This means your Occupational Health or corporate health provision extends across the whole of the UK, without gaps in Northern Ireland coverage.

What I cover

Workplace Ergonomics assessments: Full workstation and task assessments for clients across Northern Ireland, with written reports and practical recommendations.

DSE assessments: Display screen equipment assessments for office-based and hybrid workers, carried out on site at your client's location.

Driver Ergonomics assessments: On-site assessments for professional and fleet drivers, covering vehicle setup, driving posture and associated manual handling tasks, with an individual report and action plan for each driver.

Manual handling training: Practical manual handling training delivered in the workplace, suitable for a range of industries and roles.

Who I work with

This arrangement works well for:

  • Occupational Health Providers contracted to NI-based employers who need local Ergonomics input

  • Corporate health and wellbeing providers with a UK-wide client base

Why refer to a local specialist

Sending an assessor from Great Britain adds cost and scheduling delays. As a Chartered Ergonomist permanently based near Belfast, assessments can be arranged sooner and without the overhead of travelling across the Irish Sea.
